Are you a seasoned financial professional with a passion for treasury management sales and relationship development? Our client, a respected firm in the financial services industry, is seeking an experienced Treasury Management Officer to join their team. This is a pivotal role designed for a strategic thinker who can drive new business, deepen existing client relationships, and support treasury management initiatives.
About the Role:
As VP-Treasury Management Officer, you will lead treasury management sales activities, develop new commercial banking relationships focused on treasury products, and support ongoing client retention through consultative services. You will collaborate closely with Relationship Managers and Commercial Lenders, delivering impactful sales presentations and product demonstrations. Your expertise will ensure seamless onboarding for new clients and continuous portfolio optimization by identifying new revenue opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead treasury management product sales and core deposit growth initiatives.
- Coordinate with relationship teams to maximize commercial deposit gathering.
- Serve as a key treasury product partner during sales meetings.
- Develop and present tailored sales proposals and demonstrations.
- Conduct regular training sessions on treasury management products.
- Stay informed on market conditions, pricing strategies, and fee opportunities.
- Enhance cash management services, including remote capture.
- Maintain accurate daily customer and bank maintenance documentation.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years in financial services, with at least 2 years in business development.
- Strong knowledge of treasury services, cash management, and relevant banking regulations.
- Ability to interpret financial/legal documents and produce clear reports and correspondence.
- Skilled in decision making, problem resolution, and effective communication with clients and senior management.
- Advanced technology proficiency including computers, mobile apps, email, and internet tools.
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
