The Locums Sourcing Specialist is responsible for building and maintaining a strong, qualified pipeline of locum tenens healthcare providers to meet the Recruiting team's current and future staffing needs. This role is focused exclusively on candidate sourcing, outreach, engagement, and pipeline management: identifying and connecting with qualified clinicians, screening for interest and fit, and transitioning strong candidates to Candidate Recruiters for placement.

Previous
Experience:
Three (3) years of experience in recruitment, sourcing, or sales within healthcare staffing, locum tenens, or physician recruitment. Experience working with locum providers strongly preferred. Demonstrated success sourcing and engaging healthcare providers (physicians, CRNAs, NPs, PAs, or other clinicians). Familiarity with credentialing processes, state licensure requirements, and provider compliance is a plus

Sourcing & Computer
Skills:
Strong ability to leverage a variety of sourcing channels (online directories, professional associations, data enrichment tools, AI-enabled sourcing technology, Boolean search, Linked In Recruiter, and social media) to identify and engage qualified candidates. Proficiency with standard business software (Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and comfort using a laptop and mobile device. Experience with leading ATS and CRM platforms (e.g., Kronos, Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce).
Travel: Ability to travel for recruitment conferences and other events as needed, up to 15% travel.

- Build and maintain a strong sourcing pipeline of locum tenens clinicians (physicians, CRNAs, NPs, PAs, and other providers) across specialties, states, and licensure types to meet current and future requisitions.
- Proactively identify and engage active and passive candidates using online directories, professional associations, data enrichment and AI-enabled sourcing tools, social media, and referral networks.
- Execute targeted outreach campaigns, including email outreach, job postings, and direct networking, to attract and engage qualified providers.
- Conduct initial outreach and screening calls to assess provider availability, interest, licensure status, and qualifications.
- Maintain active, segmented candidate lists (by specialty, license, state, and availability) to support ongoing and future sourcing efforts.
