Job Summary

Under minimal supervision, the Email Marketing Solution Developer plans and executes digital product strategy, technology/product development, technology and/or product support and/or customer engagement strategies in support of the company’s product and service portfolio. We are looking for a highly skilled and technically proficient Email Marketing Solution Developer to join our marketing team. Operating at the intersection of marketing strategy and technical execution, you will play a crucial role in designing, building, and maintaining our automated email campaigns and driving the success of our enterprise email creation platform, Stensul.

Essential

Functions - Design & Technical Implementation
  • System Administration:
    Serve as the primary technical administrator for our email creation platform, Stensul. Manage user access, configure system settings with the vendor, and architect reusable email templates and components for end-users.
  • User Support & Optimization:
    Collaborate with agency partners and internal stakeholders using the platform to resolve technical build issues. Continuously identify opportunities to improve platform operations, user experience, and the final work product.
  • Vendor Management & Integration:
    Partner with Stensul’s technical resources to troubleshoot complex issues and ensure the Fed Ex solution operates seamlessly. Manage and configure APIs to integrate third‑party functionalities, such as Email on Acid or Litmus.
  • Campaign Architecture:
    Formulate and execute technical solutions for business challenges within our Email Marketing Automation Platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Adobe). Build and configure emails, touchpoints, automated workflows, queries, and notifications. Enable advanced personalization and A/B testing leveraging platform expertise and custom coding.
  • Production Support:
    Partner with Email Production Managers (EPMs) to execute complex campaigns. Define and manage Data Extension schemas, and troubleshoot advanced design and component issues.
  • Channel Health:
    Lead cross‑functional email channel health initiatives by providing technical expertise. Drive technical solutions through corporate governance processes, including drafting and answering Info Sec and CAB (Change Advisory Board) requests.
  • Data Analytics & Reporting:
    Utilize a deep understanding of data management and audience segmentation to answer critical business questions. Write and execute SQL queries to build custom reports and extract actionable insights.
Minimum Education

Bachelor's Degree/equivalent experience in marketing, finance, computer science, engineering or related business discipline.

Minimum Experience

Five (5) years of experience in a digital marketing or digital product management environment or demonstrated knowledge gained through coursework or work experience in digital product marketing, management, or technology support. More advanced degrees may offset experience requirements. A related master’s degree equals two (2) years of experience.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Considered a Plus
  • 5+ years of hands‑on experience in email development, marketing automation, or a similar technical role. Demonstrated ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable technical campaign architecture.
  • Marketing Automation Platform (MAP) Expertise:
    Expert proficiency with full‑cycle campaign development, administration, and configuration in enterprise platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC), Adobe, Marketo, Eloqua, Hub Spot, or Pardot.
  • Email Creation Platform Expertise:
    Proven ability to build and troubleshoot custom components, modules, and templates within modern email creation platforms (e.g., Stensul, Knak).
  • Coding Proficiency:
    Advanced skills in HTML and CSS for responsive email development, coupled with strong knowledge of platform‑specific scripting languages (e.g., AMPscript, Liquid).
  • Advanced Data

    Skills:

    Proven ability to write, troubleshoot, and optimize SQL queries for audience segmentation, data extraction, and deep‑dive troubleshooting within the MAP environment.
Domicile Info

This position will be hybrid in Plano, TX, or Memphis, TN, and candidates must live within a 50‑mile radius of either city. Employees will be required to work at a Fed Ex office location up to several times per week.

National Monthly Pay Range

USA: $7,094.23/mo - $15,607.31/mo
