The Corporate Information Services Department is seeking a dynamic and talented Sr. Application Analyst-Workday.
The Sr. Application Analyst - Workday HCM serves as a technical and functional lead for the Workday HCM platform, responsible for delivering advanced configuration, solution design, and cross functional support. This role bridges the gap between day to day configuration work and long term system strategy by partnering with HR, IT, and vendor teams to design scalable solutions, lead complex enhancements, and ensure the Workday HCM ecosystem operates efficiently and reliably.
The senior analyst provides expert-level troubleshooting, drives continuous improvement, and supports governance and best practices across the platform.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Lead advanced configuration, testing, and deployment of Workday HCM enhancements across multiple modules
- Partner with HR and IT stakeholders to gather requirements, design solutions, and ensure alignment with business needs and system best practices
- Serve as an escalation point for complex Workday HCM issues, providing expert-level troubleshooting and analysis
- Develop and maintain detailed documentation including solution designs, configuration decisions, and process flows
- Support governance activities by contributing to standards, naming conventions, and change control processes
- Evaluate Workday releases, assess impacts, and recommend adoption strategies for new features
- Mentor junior analysts and provide guidance on Workday best practices, configuration approaches, and troubleshooting techniques
- Lead testing cycles for upgrades, new functionality, and cross-functional initiatives, ensuring quality and continuity
- Collaborate with integration teams to support data flows, troubleshoot issues, and ensure end-to-end process integrity
Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 4-6 years' experience of Workday HCM with increasing responsibility, 6-8 years including leadership of complex enhancements, integrations, or module ownership preferred.
- Advanced configuration experience across multiple Workday HCM modules (Core HCM, Compensation, Talent, Absence, etc.)
- Strong understanding of HR processes, compliance requirements, and system governance
- Ability to lead medium-to-large projects and cross-functional initiatives
- Skilled in diagnosing complex issues and performing root-cause analysis
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and guide junior analysts
- Experience with Workday reporting, EIBs, and integration coordination
- Workday Pro or Workday Certification preferred
- Minimal travel required
