IT Business analyst

Responsabilities and essential duties

• Act as a bridge between engineering business and IT stakeholders.
• Collaborate with engineering teams, product owners, delivery and operations teams to gather, understand and document business goals, specifications and requirements for small to medium projects and translate these into an architectural plan.
• Apply in‑depth knowledge of integration best practices and application lifecycle, and deliver strong written, listening and oral communication.
• Ensure data integrity and cybersecurity of engineering applications in partnership with the global security team and in compliance with company policies that cover system ownership.
• Manage user acceptance testing across processes and projects; develop and execute unit/system test cases, scripts and plans.
• Improve IT efficiency across the supported application stack by identifying opportunities to streamline the application portfolio, reduce IT service cost and lower business risk.
• Support environment compliance through continuous collaboration with the validation team.
• Help build a "one IT" environment and collaborate across matrixes to deliver optimal results for peers and business customers.
• Apply plans, standards and simplifications to guarantee the best solutions serve operations and ultimately our customers.
• Operate as part of a global team with potential international work within a regional concept.
• Achieve efficiency in understanding requirements and building functional designs.
• Execute other tasks as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience as an Engineering Business Analyst and delivery of multiple projects.
• Knowledge of GxP regulations (e.g., 21 CFR Part 11, GAMP 5, MHRA) and industry best practices.
• Strong knowledge of implementation processes in engineering environments.
• Knowledge of SCADA, PLC and other equipment used in manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of AI, machine learning and other emerging technologies.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to simplify technology for non‑technical audiences.
• Proficiency in English, written and spoken.
• Familiarity with Waterfall, Agile and hybrid project‑management frameworks.
