PositionSummary
The Epic Grand Central Systems Analyst is responsible for the development, configuration, continuous improvement and support for the Patient Logistics Team, focusing on patient movement. The analyst will routinely perform in-depth analysis of workflows, data, and technical documents associated with the application area, and design, build, test, install and maintain solutions related to assigned applications.
Responsibilities- Translate practice and specialty workflows into application and technology designs.
- Analyze application release notes and technical specifications to identify impact and opportunities; plan and execute new functionality in upgrades.
- Evaluate current state processes and identify gaps to future state goals related to IT application utilization.
- Manage assigned project tasks to remain on track with project timelines, proactively communicate risks and delays and appropriately escape issues.
- Communicate information to internal and external customers clearly and concisely, delivering difficult or sensitive information tactfully.
- Assist with defining, testing and implementing interfaces with third‑party systems and develop effective end‑to‑end workflows around the interfaces.
- Analyze and troubleshoot problems, consistently offering solutions with minimal assistance from management.
- Participate in business continuity planning and assist with the development of disaster recovery measures.
- Participate in after‑hours support on‑call rotation.
- BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience in Grand Central.
- Current certifications in Grand Central, Orders (in patient), and ASAP.
- 1.5 years of experience working within Information Technology implementing and supporting applications.
- Clarity, Caboodle, and Cogito certifications are preferred.
- Epic go‑live experience providing onsite and/or remote support is preferred.
- Proven ability to understand business issues and objectives and translate them into application solutions.
- Strong understanding of application technology and system design.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 tools.
- Excellent oral, written communication, and interpersonal relationship skills.
- Ability to travel up to 25% to Ardent facilities for pre‑activation and implementation (preferred).
