Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated General Manager / Tech Lead to lead our small IT team in Franklin, TN. This role is crucial for our growth and success, as you will oversee daily operations, manage client relationships, and drive the technical direction of our company. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in IT support, VOIP, networking, and sales, with a strong focus on customer experience and team development.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage a small IT team, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Provide advanced IT support for clients, including troubleshooting, maintenance, and upgrades for servers, workstations, and networks.
- Oversee and manage VOIP systems, with a knowledge of Ring Central.
- Expertly configure and manage Ubiquiti networking equipment.
- Utilize and support Datto and Kaseya for backup and endpoint protection.
- Implement and maintain advanced networking solutions for clients.
- Manage and participate in sales efforts, focusing on growing our client base and maintaining high customer satisfaction.
- Train, mentor, and develop team members, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge to succeed.
- Ensure excellent customer service and address client issues promptly and effectively.
- Coordinate and oversee low voltage wiring, audio, and video installations as needed.
- 5-7 years of advanced IT support experience.
- Proficiency in VOIP systems, especially Ring Central.
- Expertise in Ubiquiti networking equipment.
- Strong experience with servers, workstations, and advanced networking.
- Familiarity with Datto and Kaseya, including their backup and endpoint protection solutions, is highly desirable.
- Experience with audio, video, and low voltage wiring is a plus.
- Strong team mentality with excellent training and mentoring skills.
- Willingness to jump in and support the team as needed.
- Proven sales experience with a focus on customer experience.
