About the Role

Seeking System Trainer/ Instructor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful adoption of a child welfare information system implementation. You will design and deliver targeted training programs using scenario-based and role-specific examples to prepare end users and support teams for go-live operations. This role demands expertise in facilitating training across diverse audiences and leveraging advanced LMS platforms and virtual collaboration tools to drive effective learning outcomes.

Your contributions will directly impact system adoption, data quality, and operational excellence within the child welfare domain.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver end-user training over a 7-week training period using classroom and virtual facilitation methods tailored for DCS staff.
  • Coordinate and deliver provider training programs over a 5-week training period by leveraging LMS platforms and training sandboxes.
  • Facilitate help desk training sessions prior to go-live, focusing on walkthroughs and resolution steps for common system issues.
  • Conduct knowledge transfer sessions, including train-the-trainer programs and technical support knowledge sharing tailored to system workflows.
  • Translate complex system functionality into clear, role-based instruction using scenario-based examples relevant to user operations.
  • Provide just-in-time training in person to support system utilization, adoption, and business process alignment.
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders, technical teams, and functional leads to ensure training content reflects current workflows and system updates.
  • Support help desk personnel by delivering system-specific content, addressing Level 1 and Level 2 support scenarios.
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of experience facilitating training for diverse audiences, including system end users, technical teams, and support staff.
  • Proficient in using LMS platforms and virtual collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams to deliver engaging training sessions.
  • Advanced classroom and virtual facilitation skills with the ability to adapt content to varying audience needs.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of creating clear documentation and user-friendly training materials.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Experience developing or delivering training using scenario-based and job-specific examples tailored to system functionalities.
  • Proven ability to work in fast-paced implementation environments and adapt to evolving project requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with child welfare systems and domain-specific workflows.
  • Experience with sandbox environments and hands‑on system training development.
  • Certification in instructional design, training facilitation, or relevant LMS platforms.
  • Knowledge of best practices for training delivery during large‑scale software implementations.
  • Ability to assess training effectiveness and provide actionable feedback to improve learning outcomes.
