This is a full‑time, on‑site role located in Jackson, TN. The Campus Police Officer will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of students, staff, and campus property. Daily responsibilities include patrolling campus grounds, investigating criminal activities, collecting and securing evidence, enforcing laws and campus policies, and responding promptly to emergencies. The officer will engage with the campus community to promote safety practices and provide a secure learning environment.
Qualifications- Proficiency in Police and Law Enforcement practices, including ensuring safety and adherence to regulations
- Experience in Criminal Investigations and Evidence collection/handling
- Strong knowledge of municipal, state, and federal laws relevant to the role of a Police Officer
- Prior experience as a certified Police Officer is highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with a diverse community
- Problem‑solving skills and a calm demeanor in high‑stress situations
- Completion of a law enforcement training academy or equivalent certification is required
- Possession of a valid driver’s license and ability to pass a background check and physical fitness standards
