Groundskeeper - Cherry Grove at New Earth Residential

Category: Non-Exempt (Hourly).
Supervisor: Community Manager & Service Supervisor.
Hours: Typical range of hours based on community needs; may require weekends and after-hour emergency services. Full Time: 5 days per week, 8 hours per day (average 40 hours).

Physical Demands: Medium work (exerting 50 lbs. of force occasionally), climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, talking, hearing. Visual acuity to operate hand tools. Subject to weather.

Drug Screens: Pre-employment, post injury, reasonable suspicion, and possible random screens.

• Provide maintenance of the property and grounds; perform maintenance in common areas and assist with resident satisfaction and occupancy goals.
• Participate in preventive maintenance programs and ongoing maintenance and repair of all mechanical systems of the property.
• Keep grounds and common areas clean at all times.
• Follow safety precautions; ensure courteous, 5-star service to residents.
• Assist and report on inspections and quality assurance results.

• High school diploma or equivalent; professional knowledge of business discipline is preferred.
• Ability to follow detailed oral/written instructions.
• Customer service oriented with strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities and objectives; problem-solving abilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to communicate in English; bilingual candidates encouraged.
• Ability to lift/exert 50 lbs.
