Eddleman & Eddleman, Inc. is a boutique, multi-division professional services firm providing integrated financial advisory, accounting, tax, and private investment services to business owners and other affluent clients. Our firm includes a fully functioning CPA, accounting & tax practice serving individuals and businesses, a Registered Investment Advisory division, and an internal private equity and venture capital platform that supports ongoing, tax-advantaged private investment strategies.

As the firm grows and operational leadership expands, this role is expected to evolve significantly in scope and compensation. In a successful execution scenario aligned with our long‑term growth objectives, total compensation could reasonably scale into a senior operations leadership range. We are intentionally hiring this role early given our firm size because we believe strong operational leadership is essential to reaching our long‑term growth objectives.

This role is designed for a professional who wants to help build, integrate, and scale a values‑driven professional services firm. Rather than operating within a large corporate structure, the Operations Manager will work closely with firm ownership to translate strategic vision into coordinated execution across multiple affiliated entities. The role blends hands‑on operational leadership with long‑term systems development and cultural stewardship.

• Translate ownership’s strategic objectives into operational plans across all affiliated entities
• Optimize billing automation, contract management, and pricing to help target maximized firm profitability and efficiency
• Coordinate workflows, systems, and communication across accounting, tax, investment advisory, private equity, and philanthropic functions
• Document operational procedures, internal workflows, and firm policies
• Support firm‑wide and departmental goal setting, accountability, and execution rhythms
• Provide limited HR‑related support focused on onboarding, role clarity, internal documentation, and staff coordination
• Provide front‑office and administrative coordination during non‑peak periods and remain hands‑on during peak tax seasons to support operational continuity
• Support the implementation of an Entrepreneurial Operating System® (EOS) style operating framework—adapted to the firm’s values—by translating strategic objectives into clear priorities, integrating those priorities into individual responsibilities, and establishing measurable execution with accountability

Because the firm’s client volume is highly seasonal, the Operations Manager will initially assume primary responsibility for front‑office and administrative coordination during non‑peak periods, when overall client activity is lower. This allows the role to maintain continuity of service while dedicating the majority of time to operational initiatives such as billing automation, pricing optimization, contract management, and process documentation. Administrative responsibilities during this period are intentionally paired with substantial operational projects and are not intended to define the long‑term scope of the role.
