Electrical Project Manager

J2 Company is hiring an Electrical Project Manager with management growth opportunities. This position will provide the necessary support for projects within the organization. As a Project Manager, you will oversee and manage the successful execution of construction projects from initiation to completion, managing multiple projects ranging in complexity and contract value. You will work alongside the Project Engineers, Superintendents, and Estimators to complete the Project Team and monitor compliance with design, standards, and legislation.

The role will act as a liaison between project management, project engineers, service technicians, clients, and the company.

• Ensure projects stay on‑time and on‑budget through oversight and quality control methods.
• Navigate customers and team through complex technical, contractual, or regulatory issues.
• Develop and execute project plans, including scope, timeline, budget, and resource allocation.
• Facilitate meetings and workshops to gather requirements, define project goals, and track progress.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Use cost‑saving initiatives within the respective category.
• Familiar with repair and maintenance trades such as electrical, mechanical, construction, etc.
• Foster a collaborative and team environment.
• Help implement systematic and effective operational techniques and workflow procedures that enhance efficiency and quality.
• Interpret contract specifications and translate outcomes into workforce efforts.
• Provide documented inspections on all work being performed.

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
• Experience in program development and management.
• Proficiency in using project management tools and software.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Proven track record in project leadership and successful delivery.

• Minimum of 3 years of project management experience or related experience.
• Experience in electrical, industrial, commercial building, and mechanical maintenance operations is a plus.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Demonstrated ability with the English language (reading, writing, and oral communication).
• Knowledge of office equipment (printers, copiers/scanners, fax machines).
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Technical capacity desired (problem solving/analysis).

• Minimum High School Diploma (with relevant job experience).
• Bachelor's or Associate’s degree preferred.

• Eligible for military base and federal building access based on FBI background investigation.
• In possession of a valid driver’s license with a favorable driving record.
• Reliable transportation to and from job sites and willingness to travel.
