About the position
As VP U.S., you will own the region's end-to-end commercial and operational performance. You will translate strategy into execution, lead a diverse leadership team, and ensure strong coordination across sales, operations, service, and engineering. You will work closely with customers, be deeply involved in major deals, and be equally focused on building the structure and leadership platform required to scale as a public company.
This role combines growth leadership with operational rigor and offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of Flex Qube’s U.S. business. This position is based in Duncan, SC, and reports directly to the CEO at the Swedish HQ. Up to 30-50% of travel is to be expected.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the US Business & P&L
Lead revenue growth, margins, operating costs, and cash performance across the region. Build accurate forecasts, ensure pricing and deal discipline, and take swift corrective action when results deviate from plan.
Lead sales and key account development across the U.S. Build executive‑level customer relationships, engage directly in major deals and negotiations, and expand strategic programs across manufacturing, automotive, EV, logistics, and greenfield projects.
Drive a unified U.S. go‑to‑market strategy while adapting to local market needs. Strengthen collaboration, execution, and culture across country boundaries.
- Leadership & Organization Building
Build, lead, and develop a strong regional leadership team across sales, operations, service, and business development. Recruit, coach, and retain top talent to support scalable growth.
- Operational Excellence
Partner with operations and project teams to ensure strong execution from sale through delivery and lifecycle support. Improve forecasting, sales discipline, handovers, and KPI‑driven ways of working.
Identify high‑return growth opportunities, monitor market and competitive trends, and support partnerships, service expansion, or M&A initiatives.
Serve as a key member of the global leadership team, demonstrating the judgment, communication, and governance discipline expected in a publicly traded company, with succession potential beyond the regional role.
About You
You are an accomplished commercial leader and business builder who knows how to turn strategy into measurable results. Comfortable carrying full accountability for a large and complex business, you balance growth, margin, operational execution, and team performance with discipline and judgment.
You thrive in entrepreneurial environments where expectations are high, and structure must be built—not inherited. Equally effective in the boardroom, with executive-level customers, and in the day-to-day rhythm of running the business, you bring credibility, energy, and strong decision-making.
You can lead a region today—and over time, you have the potential to take on broader leadership within the company.
