Overview
Handle and lift units from floor to conveyer. Identify model number and kit types. Recognize processing requirements. Identify date codes and transfer information into computer. Key in data for specific return SKUs, navigate through computer screens, follow instructions, and execute processing properly. Read, understand and follow written instructions. Follow verbal instructions. Work safely and follow all safety guidelines and rules. Participate in achieving team goals of safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
Understands and follows the Jackson site’s environmental policy and the environmental impacts associated with their work activities.

- To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty mentioned satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Must be available for work every day as scheduled and show up on time
- Must be detail oriented
- Must be computer literate and capable of keying data and navigating through instructional screens
- Must be capable and willing to work scheduled weekend overtime as required
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Preferred: 1 year experience in manufacturing/DC environment
- Ability to read and understand simple instructions, short correspondence, notes, letters and memos;
Ability to write simple correspondence. - Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide numbers. Ability to perform these mathematical skills using money and other forms of measurement.
- Ability to use common sense understanding in order to carry out detailed written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few known variables in situations of a routine nature.
- Under general supervision where standard practice enables the employee to proceed alone on routine work, referring all questionable cases to supervisor.
