We are currently hiring a Welder—1st Shift Production for our Jackson, TN location. The position starts at $22.60/hour
. The 1st Shift runs Monday through Thursday, from 5:00am to 3:30pm or from 6:00am to 4:30pm. The ten‑hour shift includes three paid breaks and a 30‑minute lunch.
Sign‑on bonus: $1,000.00

Responsibilities:
- Welding in a fast‑paced production‑style environment.
- MIG welding multiple attachments (12 gauge to .179" brackets and tubing).
- Most welding positions require passing ASME certification, requiring a 6" vertical down weld with full penetration on .094 material with a gap of .052". Welds must be to code and cosmetically acceptable; defects such as porosity, undercut, concave are not allowed. Welds must be safe and meet quality standards.
- Follow all company policies and procedures and encourage colleagues to follow the same.
- Read and interpret blueprints or welding process specifications.
- Perform gas metal arc welding and flux‑cored arc welding.
- Assemble and MIG weld parts following blueprints, drawings, and verbal instructions.
- Conduct quality inspections of work.
- Maintain equipment in good working condition and report maintenance and safety concerns.
- Conduct repairs, modifications, and retrofits on production items.
- Provide data to assist in monitoring and tracking project status.
- Assist in training junior employees and inspecting their work.
- Ensure accuracy and completion of assigned tasks and projects.
- Sign off on completed work orders and quality of work.
- Maintain a working knowledge of changes in technology, compliance, and repair techniques.
- Actively participate in the development of a LEAN manufacturing culture.
- May perform various duties that do not always require hand welding. Welders may be assigned to operate various welding and non‑welding equipment to meet customer demand.
- Relevant experience in MIG welding within the last 2 years. Machine welding experience is not applicable.
- Must have reliable transportation to/from work.
- Must be able to report to work each day for your scheduled shift.
