Field Service Engineer Jackson, TN

Our client, a global leader in precision CMM equipment, is seeking a  
** Field Service Engineer
** to support customer sites within TN Area.

This is a contract position with strong potential for permanent placement.

*
* Position Overview:

** This is a  
** 100% travel role Mondays through Fridays every week** , focused on the installation, maintenance, and calibration of high-precision equipment at customer facilities.

Responsibilities include:

+ Equipment assembly, disassembly, leveling, diagnostics, and repair

+ Performing certifications and re-calibrations

+ Delivering exceptional service and maintaining a professional presence on-site

** Candidate Requirements:*
* + Must have previous experience in field support with heavy travel

+ Full availability to travel Monday through Friday every week

+ Will need a reliable vehicle (until company van available) and clean driving record

+ Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude

+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics

+ Must be a  
** U.S. Citizen**  (due to ITAR regulations for federal site access)

+ Capable of lifting up to  
** 75 lbs*
