Role Summary Manufacturing Supervisor

The Manufacturing Supervisor is responsible for supervising the setup, operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of manufacturing production equipment, including machining, processing, assembly and packaging.
Responsibilities- Manage and control the day-to-day activities for an assigned shift within a M+H production zone.
- Plan, review and approve daily attendance records, assigning, and directing work.
- Ensure the production activities are in line with the production plan and deadlines.
- Understand and develop plans to produce parts in accordance with customer schedules and shipments.
- Ensure strict adherence to MH quality procedures and compliance with all customer requirements during the complete production process.
- Support the RPS/8D Process in collaboration with the Production Manager to ensure that the quality standards are met and participate in RPS discussions/meetings.
- Ensure the quality approval of the products by the Quality Inspectors and implement corrective actions in case of deviations, controlling if the corrective measures are effectively applied.
- Implement, coordinate and control cleanliness and order of the production area/activities (e.g. ensure the 5S Process, implement Production Basics, etc.).
- Ensure that the machines and equipment are properly used and maintained.
- Manage/execute the Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) Process, controlling loss and/or damage to machines and equipment.
- Ensure changeovers and machine set‑ups are executed in a timely and efficient manner.
- Coordinate and control the set‑up processes according to the pre‑defined schedule.
- Provide, manage, and update all documentation related to the production activities.
- Manage zone and machine safety, ensuring compliance with safety requirements, sustainability issues, and legal regulations.
- Maintain records as per ISO/TS/EMS Standards.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in technical or business education.
Experience:
- 6 years of relevant work experience in manufacturing operations.
- 6 years of leadership or supervisory experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Experience with Plastic Injection Mold/Blow Mold or component assembly.
- Experience with Visual Manufacturing, including Kan Ban/Takt Time/Visual Work Instructions.
Required Skills:
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles (Takt, One‑piece flow, Pull, 5S).
- Automotive industry experience.
Preferred Experience:
- Knowledge of TS 16949 and ISO 14001 requirements.
