Production Manager - Bakery

Position: Bakery Manager Reports to: Plant Director

We are looking for a Bakery Manager to join our Operations team at our Rossville Plant! Our Bakery Manager is primarily responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the production bakery!

We are looking to add a strong people leader to help us coach and develop our employees, improve existing and implement new processes, and build a great culture on the floor! You will have a hands‑on role working alongside the Plant Director, managing and developing production systems that increase productivity, quality, food safety, and efficiency! You must be comfortable working in a dynamic environment as there are lots of things on‑the‑go, including unforeseeable and changing priorities!

However, you will get the opportunity to be heavily involved with improving our processes and ensuring we deliver quality products to our customers in a timely manner. • You have at least 3-5 years of production management experience preferably in a food manufacturing environment

• Degree or Diploma in a related field

• Manage the daily activities and controllable costs of the bakery
• Manage, motivate, coach and guide the production team to ensure that they have the ability to deliver results
• Manage and develop the team and maintain a positive work culture
• Drive continuous improvement in plant operations, health and safety, and product quality
• Work with other departments to coordinate activities and accomplish bakery goals
• Ensure that effective manufacturing practices are continually utilized while meeting health and safety regulations

• You may on occasion work at varied times as the job requires
