Production Manager
Shift Supervisor – Blown Film (7p-7a 2/3 Rotating Night Shift)
Printpack, a leading manufacturer of flexible packaging, is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the position of Shift Supervisor – Blown Film for a 7p-7a 2/3 rotating night shift located in the Jackson, TN plant. This role reports to the Blown Films Department Manager and is responsible for overall leadership and coordination of the shift, ensuring production targets and deadlines are met while maintaining safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and coordinate shift operations, ensuring production targets and deadlines are met.
- Enforce all OSHA, environmental, health and safety policies, conduct monthly safety meetings and BBSO audits, and address safety incidents.
- Monitor quality of products and interventions to improve production methods, equipment performance, and customer satisfaction.
- Create a positive, inclusive work environment; develop and coach associates, assess performance, conduct quarterly and annual reviews.
- Communicate daily production goals and expectations, manage shift administrative activities such as timekeeping, attendance, vacation planning, and overtime.
- Perform inventory control through cycle counts, manage in‑plant material movement.
- High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
- Hands‑on supervisory experience in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
- Experience with blown or cast extrusion preferred; continuous process experience preferred.
- Strong problem‑solving, decision‑making, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage change and multiple objectives simultaneously.
- Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, Outlook, and manufacturing ERP system preferred.
- Excellent work history and attendance record.
- Physical ability to stand for prolonged periods and work any shift as needed.
