Bench Carpenter

Mesa is seeking a skilled and driven team member based in Ashland City, TN. We specialize in custom millwork and furniture for commercial spaces in Nashville and are growing rapidly.

Mid to senior level bench carpenter capable of autonomously building millwork projects from drawing sets. You will handle casework, bent laminations, tabletops, banquette internals, and large scale wall paneling installations, working with a team of bench carpenters and reporting directly to the millwork foreman.

• Assist and/or lead in building cabinetry, furniture, and millwork
• Perform bench carpentry tasks such as milling, assembling, cutting, sanding, and assisting with installations
• Ensure deadlines are met without compromising quality
• Work from shop drawings under the direction of the shop foreman or lead
• Maintain a clean and efficient work environment

• 4+ years experience in a professional wood shop
• Proficiency in hardwood and plywood construction
• Attention to detail, organization, and efficiency
• Willingness to learn new processes and follow direction
• Hardworking and able to work in multiple mediums
• Capable of occasional overtime requests

• Pay: $25-35 hourly, based on experience
• Profit sharing quarterly
• Paid Time Off: 5 days per year after one year
• Holidays: 10 paid holiday days annually

• Full‑time, Monday–Thursday: 7:00 am–4:30 pm;
  Friday: 7:00 am–12:00 pm
