Compensation$28,000 per year

- Position parts in jigs or fixtures on bench or floor, or clamp parts together along layout marks.
- Examine weld for bead size and other specifications.
- Repair broken or cracked metal objects, fill holes, and build up metal parts.
- Lay out, position, and tack‑weld work pieces.
- Scarface or groove weld prior to applying filler metal.
- Chip or grind off excess weld, slag, or spatter.
- Clean or degrease parts.
- Perform MIG welding.
- Read AWS blueprints.
- Perform physical aspects of the job, including climbing step ladders, bending, stooping, reaching, lifting, and standing for long periods.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education and experience.
- One to three months of related experience or training.
- Must be able to work a 4‑on, 4‑off schedule.
- Ability to read AWS blueprints and perform health‑and‑safety compliance.
- Requires standing for extended periods of time.
- Must wear required PPE (including PAPR).
- Must lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
- Day shift opportunities (second shift employees receive a $1.50 per hour premium when applicable).
4‑on 4‑off schedule; off half of the weekends during the year. - Overtime available.
