The Packout Cleaner Basement Op position is an hourly position that reports to the Team Coach and Operations Leader. The employee is responsible for operating a forklift, working autonomously, self motivated, meet objectives and drive area improvements. The employee must have a commitment to safety, good housekeeping and environment regulations.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Forklift Experience Required (Forklift Certification, candidate will continue in their current role until certified)
- Pull all spaghetti glass from 1801 and 1802 basement and place on perg pad
- Send all contaminated spaghetti glass to landfill
- Pull all other glass (cullet, chopper door, and trash, and send to landfill
- Sweep and wash down both forming basements daily
- Clean walls, piping and floor drains as needed
- Report all safety issues
- Clean Perg Pad and drain system, 1801 pad, 1802 pad, and roadway from 1801 to Perg Pad
- Clean Shaker Screens and buildings on a scheduled base
- Daily cleaning of Pack-Out Stations
- General Housekeeping
- Follow Safety Rules and procedures throughout the plant

The employee must be able to:
- Perform each essential duty satisfactorily
- Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram from
- Deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
- Have computer skills such as but not limited to word processing, email and spreadsheets
Education and/or
Experience:
The employee should have the following:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED);
Or one to three months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.

- Be frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts

- Work regular attendance on site
- Work 12 hour rotating shifts
- Lift up to 60 lbs
Position Pays $ 19.00 hourly
