Staff Management | SMX in Jackson, TN is hiring Manufacturing Group Leads to support our client's essential daily operations by packaging food products in a factory environment. We offer a production schedule that operates on a two week, rotating 36/48 hour schedule.

Duties:
- Lead and support a team of manufacturing associates to ensure daily production goals are met safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
- Perform packing, hand packing, rework, inspections, and visual quality checks to ensure compliance with warehouse quality standards.
- Assist with line clearances, changeovers, and minor equipment adjustments to minimize downtime.
- Provide break and lunch relief by temporarily covering production positions to maintain continuous operations and minimize downtime.
- Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment while promoting accountability and continuous improvement.
- Support other warehouse and production duties as assigned to meet operational needs such as 5S workplace organization.
- Move, stage, and handle raw materials, work in process (WIP), finished goods, and product returns to maintain production flow in the warehouse.
- Follow safety, quality, production, factory, and operational procedures while contributing to daily production goals.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
Requirements:
Background Check, Drug Test, Must be at least 18 years old. Able to Lift 50 pounds., required education:

The hourly rate for this position is anticipated between $18.00 - $18.00 per hour. This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the shift you work and other considerations permitted by law.
