Press Inspector – Catch the Details That Matter!

Location: Jackson, Tennessee
Job Type: Full-Time | Manufacturing
Hours: 7pm-630am

Do you have a sharp eye for detail and take pride in getting things right? We’re looking for a dependable Press Inspector to help ensure automotive parts meet the highest quality standards before moving to the next stage of production.

This is a great opportunity to build valuable quality-control experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment!

What You’ll Do
  • Inspect stamped metal parts for cracks, dents, scratches, burrs, improper forming, and other defects.
  • Compare finished parts with approved samples and quality standards.
  • Perform first-piece, in-process, and routine inspections.
  • Use gauges, calipers, fixtures, and other measuring tools as needed.
  • Separate, label, and report defective or questionable parts.
  • Accurately document inspection results.
  • Notify the press operator or team leader when quality concerns arise.
  • Verify that accepted parts are counted, labeled, and packaged correctly.
  • Help with sorting, containment, and rework when needed.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
What We’re Looking For
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to follow written instructions and quality standards.
  • Basic math and measurement skills.
  • Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Previous manufacturing, automotive, metal-stamping, or inspection experience is helpful—but qualified, motivated applicants are encouraged to apply!
Physical Requirements

Candidates must be able to:

  • Stand and walk throughout the shift.
  • Frequently handle and inspect production parts.
  • Bend, reach, twist, and lift materials or containers.
  • Work safely around machinery, noise, and moving equipment.
  • Wear required personal protective equipment.
