Production Operator 2nd shift

Cuprobraze

Assembly of a heat exchange core built using the cuprobraze brazing process. A lead - free brazing process that joins anneal resistant copper and brass alloy to create strong, durable and corrosion resistant heat exchanger components.

You will work with a broad range of talented individuals to deliver quality products in a timely manner. You’ll work alongside Assemblers and partner with professionals across multiple departments.

As a Production Operato in Cuprobraze, you will follow specified work instructions and/or engineering parts drawings to assemble a wide variety of products. You will be responsible for the quality of your work, and meeting production standards. You will continually look for ways to improve our production processes and make Safety your #1 priority every day.

• High School Graduate or GED.
• 1+ years of assembly experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment.
• Must possess the ability to use tools and equipment that are needed to perform the assembly operations in an industrial setting.
• Must have good listening and communication skills.
• Able to work well with others to be a good team player.

• Assemble or disassemble on a production line. You may be asked to assist or train in multiple work cells.
• Follow specified work instructions to assemble and test as required.
• Follow applicable procedures
• Keep work area clean and in order
• Follow all company Safety procedures and guidelines
• Report malfunction of equipment and process deviations to appropriate personnel.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Overtime as required

Positions parts according to knowledge of unit being assembled by following blueprints.

Hammers, measures, roller swage(similar to a hand drill operation, or otherwise fasten parts together

Removes small quantities of metal with pneumatic drill using a cutting tool.

Assembles test plates with bolts/nuts and pressure test units under water to determine a leak free unit.

Training and use of an overhead hoist is required to move Fin & Tubes as well as complete assemblies in a safe manner.

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Pay range: $21.00 - $23.00
