Exchange Club Carl Perkins Center for the Prevention of Child Abuse

The Exchange Club Carl Perkins Center for the Prevention of Child Abuse is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic
Events/Marketing Assistant. This individual will work closely with the Events/Marketing Coordinator to support the planning, coordination, and successful fundraising, community outreach, and special events that advance the Center's mission.

• Collaborate with designated committees to plan and execute event-related activities.
• Meet with vendors, sponsors, and community partners to coordinate event logistics and support.
• Assist with event setup, execution, and cleanup to ensure successful event operations.
• Run errands as needed, including obtaining supplies, decorations, and other event materials.
• Work collaboratively with the Board of Directors, Exchange Club members, staff, and volunteers to facilitate the development, implementation, and successful completion of events.
• Provide administrative and organizational support for events and marketing initiatives as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Development, Fundraising, Public Relations, or a related field.
• Minimum of one (1) year of related experience in event planning, marketing, fundraising, or a similar role.
• Self-motivated individuals with demonstrated leadership abilities.
• Strong commitment to teamwork and collaboration.
• Excellent organizational, problem‑solving, and multitasking skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer applications.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build positive professional relationships.

full-time, in-person position
