Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team and contribute to our mission of enhancing the health and well-being of our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients of all ages under the supervision of a physician or Registered Nurse (RN).

  • Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to clinical guidelines.

  • Conduct patient assessments, record vital signs, and monitor patient health status.

  • Assist with routine medical procedures, including wound care, catheterizations, and blood draws.

  • Educate patients and their families on disease management, treatment plans, and preventive health measures.

  • Support the physician in the diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic conditions.

  • Perform routine administrative tasks such as maintaining patient records, scheduling appointments, and managing medical supplies.

  • Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment, following infection control protocols and safety guidelines.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with patients and their families, fostering trust and communication.

Qualifications
  • Current and valid LPN license in Tennessee.

  • Certificate/Degree from an accredited Practical Nursing program.

  • Previous experience in a family medicine or primary care setting is a plus but not required.

  • Strong clinical skills with the willingness to handle a wide range of medical conditions and procedures.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a genuine passion for patient care.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a small, close-knit team.

  • Willingness to adapt to the unique challenges of a rural healthcare setting.
