We are seeking a PRE-OP/PACU Nurse for our ambulatory surgery center. You will ensure safe and effective nursing care is rendered from admission until the patient is dismissed from the facility.

Qualifications you will need:

• 1+ years of nursing experience in a clinical setting, preferably in PACU, ICU or Surgery
• The ideal candidate will be a responsible and well-trained professional able to give the best nursing care with little supervision
• Monitor patient’s condition and assess their needs to provide the best possible preoperative and postoperative care and advice
• Familiar and comfortable with EHR
• A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Active RN license as required by state of employment
• BCLS Certification upon employment.

• ACLS (preferred)

What you will do in this role:

• Monitor your patients according to policy (vital signs, temperature, cardiac, etc.).
• You will exhibit proper technique for insertion, maintenance, and removal of IV catheters and saline locks
• Provide a safe and comforting environment for your patients.
• Ensure your patients meet discharge criteria

• Monday to Thursday

Experience:

• Critical Care Nursing/ER Nursing: 2 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• BLS Certification (Required)
• Tennessee RN License (Required)
