Days, 6:45a‑7:15p, 12x1, 12 hrs per week

Length
: 13 weeks

• TN license
• 1 year of experience
• ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Must have EPIC Experience with in the last 12 months
• Work Settings:
  Stepdown Cardiac, Stepdown, IMC, DOU
• 2 clinical references, at least 1 leadership reference from assignments within the last year

• 1st time travelers accepted
• Charting system:
  Epic
• COVID‑19 Vaccine (Facility Guideline):
  Required – Medical/Religious Exemptions Only
• Flu Vaccine (Facility Guideline):
  Required – No Exemptions

• Shift times: 06:45 – 19:15
• 12 hour shifts available
• Should have weekend availability

• Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response
• Interpretation of dysrhythmias
• Management of dysrhythmias
• Telemetry – on the unit monitoring
• Use of Rapid Response/Code teams
• Cardiovascular – Post Cardiac Angiogram, Post MI, Pre‑Post Cardiac Cath
• Endocrine/Metabolic – IV insulin protocols
• Gastrointestinal – Feeding tube care and management
• Genitourinary/Renal – Pre‑Post Hemodialysis Management, Renal Failure
• IV therapy/Phlebotomy
• Accessing/Managing Ports
• Blood Product Administration
• Central line care/management
• Phlebotomy
• Peripheral Line Care/Management
• PICC line management
• Starting and maintaining IVs
• Medications – Heparin protocols, Manage Cardiac drops (no titration), Manage Vasoactive drops (no titration), PCA, Procedural Sedation Administration/Monitoring, Titrate Cardiac Drops
• Neurological/Psychiatric – CVA
• Orthopedics – Ortho Trauma, Peripheral nerve block catheters, Total Joint Replacements, Surgical drains
• Plastics
• Respiratory – Chest tubes (Emerson/Pleur Evac), External CPAP/BIPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases, Non‑invasive airway management, Tracheostomy care/management
• Professional Knowledge – Isolation Precautions, Wound Care/Wound vac

• Charting system:
  Epic
• Scrubs:
  Royal Blue
• 1 year separation period for previous perm employees
