The MDS Coordinator (LPN or RN) is a full-time role responsible for managing the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) process in accordance with state and federal guidelines.
Key duties include attending educational meetings, accurately completing MDS and supporting assessments, evaluating residents' care plans, auditing medical records, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.
Responsibilities also involve maintaining confidentiality of protected health information and performing additional tasks as assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications include an active LPN or RN license in Tennessee, at least three years of nursing experience with supervisory roles, and completed MDS training within six months. RAC certification is preferred.
