Travel RN - Neuro ICU

American Traveler is hiring a Neuro ICU RN for a night shift assignment requiring recent Epic experience and TN or compact RN licensure.

• Active TN or compact RN license required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum of 1 year Med/Surg/Telemetry experience required
• Epic experience within the last 18 months required
• Charge experience preferred
• Teaching hospital and community hospital experience preferred

• Work in the Neuro Intensive Care Unit of a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours (18:45-07:15)
• 1:2 patient ratio
• Float required to other ICUs, Med/Surg/Telemetry, and Progressive Care units as needed
• Three weekend shifts required per 4-week schedule
• Holiday availability required
• Uses Epic charting system
• Provide critical care nursing to neurological and neurosurgical ICU patients
• Skills may include CVA/stroke management, EVD care, ICP monitoring, hypothermia protocol, post-neurosurgery management, and spinal cord/TBI care
• Experience with ventilator management, arterial lines, central lines, and vasoactive drip titration utilized
• Chemotherapy administration and ECMO/IABP/TAVR experience preferred
• First-time travelers and local candidates accepted at the same rate
