Highway Landscape Laborer Nashville TN

RCI is seeking motivated individuals to join our team as Highway Landscape Laborers
.

You will work both individually and as part of a team to maintain landscaped and green areas along highways and roadways. This position involves working outdoors and performing a variety of landscape maintenance, litter removal, and general property maintenance duties in a roadside environment.

• Walking alongside roadways while maintaining adjacent landscaped and green spaces.
• Operating hand and powered equipment, including mowers, weed eaters, blowers, grabbers, and other landscape maintenance equipment.
• Mowing, trimming, edging, and maintaining vegetation along designated areas.
• Gathering and removing litter, trash, and debris from the sides of roadways.
• Collecting, bagging, and transporting litter and debris to designated disposal areas.
• Performing general landscape maintenance and cleanup activities.
• Maintaining equipment and work areas in a safe and orderly condition.
• Following all applicable safety procedures and wearing required personal protective equipment.
• Working cooperatively with supervisors and other team members to complete assigned projects.
• Performing other duties and project-related tasks as assigned.

• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to walk, stand, bend, stoop, kneel, and perform physical labor for extended periods.
• Ability to safely operate hand tools and powered landscape equipment.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move materials and equipment as needed.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to follow instructions and established safety procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license preferred.
• Previous landscape or outdoor maintenance experience preferred.

• Starting at $18.50/hour
