Position: Printer Operator - Weekend F Night Shift (Fri, Sat, Sun)

Responsibilities

  • Report to front line leadership.
  • Communicate between shifts to anticipate and prepare for any production concerns.
  • Set up, operate, and monitor printers and/or baggers for daily operations.
  • Safely operate equipment to maximize product throughput and minimize downtime.
  • Run to standard while complying with customer specifications and acceptable quality levels.
  • Report any non-conformances to front line leadership.
  • Load and reload hoppers with unfinished product to ensure continuous operation.
  • Document and report substandard production.
  • Make necessary ink adjustments as needed.
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance, housekeeping, cleaning, and maintenance as assigned or required.
  • Assist other teammates as needed.
  • Uphold Safety Absolutes.
  • Work and perform to ISO standards, SOPs, and established work instructions.
  • Uphold quality standards and follow the Absolutes.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Capable of physical mobility, including sitting, bending, twisting, standing, and lifting.
  • Capable of lifting up to 35 lbs repeatedly.
  • Capable of complying with all safety requirements, including the use of PPE such as bump caps, hard hats, safety eyewear, safety shoes, hearing protection, and disposable masks.
  • Capable of maintaining an attendance record within company guidelines and working required overtime.
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Negative drug screen results.
  • Work in a safe manner.
Additional Information
  • 4:50pm – 5:00am; 12‑hour weekend shift (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday).
Contribution to Safety, Quality and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
  • Maintain a clean, healthy, and safe workplace by ensuring adherence to safety standards.
  • Conduct required safety reviews of equipment and processes prior to project start‑up.
  • Support the accomplishment of your work group through the quality, timeliness, and professionalism of your attitude.
  • Supply accurate and timely data as required by performance tracking and reporting.
  • Apply resources in a manner that maximizes their effectiveness while ensuring quality.
  • Maintain a work environment that contributes to safety and GMP compliance.
  • Adhere to established procedures, perform self‑checking, and pay attention to detail in the performance of your and your team’s work.
  • Notify management in a timely manner of any problems with procedural compliance.
  • Report observed quality problems and deficiencies in a timely manner.
  • Make recommendations to management for improving the quality and efficiency of your work.
  • Oversee work to ensure projects are completed.
