Quality/ASME Code Engineer
Work in all areas of the facility to ensure quality metrics are reported and maintained. Maintaining corrective actions, calibration, certification in ASME and UL 1450 will also be areas of responsibility. This person will work closely with Product Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Distribution, and External Customers. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Position responsibilities include maintaining ASME Code Certification and UL/CSA compliance, maintaining the Gage and Instrument Calibration Program throughout the facility, assisting in daily quality issues that impact production or new products, analyzing and reporting quality metrics to management, fostering supplier and customer relations and generating corrective actions as directed, responsible for quality system maintenance, developing or assisting in root cause analysis and implementation of corrective action for process related concerns, assisting manager in establishing, implementing and maintaining the quality management system, responsible for continual improvement activities to enhance the quality system as well as aiding in corrective actions for any area in the facility, developing training to build quality awareness, interfacing with Engineering and Operations to ensure transfer to Production of new products are in accordance with approved data, supporting the Quality Inspectors to ensure that products and processes comply with the relevant requirements of the quality management system, conducting audits, including closing out audit findings, creating audit finding reports and determining proper corrective and preventive actions, analyzing failure, corrective and preventive action to respond to customer complaints, creating and maintaining company quality documentation, such as quality manuals, quality procedures, etc.,
responsible for planning, organizing and managing the overall activities of receiving / outgoing quality functions, continuously improving QA receiving inspection process and procedures, ensuring timely resolution of supplier failure, corrective actions and preventive actions, managing suppliers' performance and conducting audits, preparation of QA reports, and other duties as assigned.
