Role Overview

As a Valhalla Coffee Barista, you’ll be the frontline of our brand — crafting high‑quality beverages, delivering fast and friendly service, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a dynamic environment, takes pride in their craft, and wants to grow with a rapidly scaling local business.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare espresso‑based drinks, cold brew, teas, and specialty beverages with consistency and accuracy
• Deliver exceptional customer service through friendly, efficient drive‑thru interactions
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment throughout each shift
• Follow standardized recipes and operational procedures to ensure quality and speed
• Assist with opening or closing duties depending on shift assignment
• Restock inventory, prep ingredients, and support smooth shift transitions
• Work collaboratively with fellow baristas to maintain high throughput during peak hours
• Uphold Valhalla Coffee’s brand standards, values, and customer experience expectations

What We’re Looking For

• Prior barista or food‑service experience preferred, but not required
• Strong communication skills and a positive, team‑oriented attitude
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment
• Reliability and punctuality — we run on tight operational rhythms
• Comfort with early mornings, weekends, and flexible scheduling
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs as needed
