The Assistant Manager is a full‑time, on‑site role based in Jackson, TN, supporting daily store operations and delivering a high level of service to professional beauty customers. Responsibilities include assisting with opening and closing procedures, supervising and coaching team members, and ensuring that merchandising, inventory, and visual standards are consistently maintained. The role involves engaging with customers to understand their professional needs, offering product recommendations, and supporting education‑focused selling.

The Assistant Manager helps drive sales results, monitors key performance indicators, and supports execution of promotional activities and company initiatives. This position also contributes to a safe, inclusive, and well‑organized work environment, while partnering with the Store Manager on staffing, training, and compliance with company policies.

• Retail operations and leadership skills, including supervising staff, assisting with scheduling, and supporting daily store procedures.
• Customer service and sales skills, with the ability to build relationships, recommend products, and contribute to meeting sales and service goals.
• Organization and merchandising abilities, such as managing inventory, maintaining visual standards, and ensuring a clean, well‑presented sales floor.
• Communication and collaboration skills, including clear verbal and written communication and effective teamwork with colleagues and management.
• Basic business and technology skills, such as using point‑of‑sale systems, handling cash accurately, and interpreting performance metrics.
• Previous experience in retail, beauty supply, or related customer‑facing environments; supervisory or lead experience is preferred.
• Ability to work on‑site in Jackson, TN, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed, and to meet physical demands such as standing, walking, and light lifting.
• Knowledge of professional beauty products or willingness to learn and participate in ongoing training and education.
