Role Summary
Reporting to the Networking & Services Manager, the Services Specialist is a key member of the Kendall Services team. The primary responsibility is business development for the manufacturing services portfolio that Kendall offers, working closely with the sales team to identify targets, prospect customers, develop a sales funnel, and close opportunities that ensure revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute the business plan for manufacturing services
- Manage the sales funnel, ensuring all opportunities are properly qualified and prioritized
- Discover and develop new business opportunities
- Collaborate with Account Managers to collectively close opportunities
- Train internal and external sales teams on the services portfolio
- Other duties and projects as assigned

Work Experience: 3 years’ experience in a sales or sales-associated role
Education: Bachelor’s degree or 3–5 years equivalent work experience

Microsoft Office Suite; business acumen including problem solving, critical thinking, analytical skills, and profitability understanding

Skills:
Highly organized and detail-oriented; ability to multi-task and shift priorities as needed; ability to work in a fast-paced and continuously evolving environment

Skills:
Able to build and nurture relationships with existing or new clients; highly motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team; comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Physical, Mental and Visual
Skills:
Ability to see, talk, and hear; must be able to stand, walk on uneven surfaces, climb stairs, operate a vehicle, and work in high or low temperature settings often present on a manufacturing floor
Physical Environment: Normal office environment; fabrication environment; exposure to moving equipment in manufacturing facilities
Travel Requirements: Occasional
Qualifications we prefer but don’t require:
- 5 years’ experience specifically selling services or solutions; business development experience in manufacturing or automation technology
- CRM experience; proposal drafting experience
