Job OverviewCardiac Ablation Solutions (CAS) Sales Representative – Remote, requires residence in territory and travel to client sites. Responsible for promoting, selling, and servicing Medtronic’s CAS products within assigned sales territory.
Responsibilities- Represent Medtronic CA Solutions as point of contact for assigned accounts
- Conduct sales calls to promote, sell, and service Medtronic’s CAS products and services
- Implement quarterly sales plan and achieve sales goals and objectives
- Manage overall relationship between CAS and account
- Maintain knowledge of Medtronic CAS products and support sales efforts of same
- Coordinate customer activities at all related meetings
- Provide ongoing field intelligence reports on competitive activity, changes in markets, distribution, pricing, customer preferences, and product features
- Employ sales collateral to support promotional and territorial needs
- Train and educate customers to gain incremental business and expand market
- Maintain proficient level of product knowledge in all assigned product lines
- Advise customers of changes and developments related to CAS products, indications, approvals, protocols, and safety information
- Complete administrative reporting (e.g., expense reports, account profiles and analysis, daily planners, competitive updates, inventory log)
- Cost‑effectively manage time and assets
- High school diploma (or equivalent) AND 10+ years’ experience
- Associate’s degree AND 8+ years’ experience
- Bachelor’s degree AND 6+ years’ experience
- Valid driver’s license and active vehicle insurance (must travel ≥75% of the time; 8‑hour/day mobile duties)
- Demonstrable success in medical device sales (4+ years in medical device sales, 3+ years in TDS, 3 years in medical industry sales)
- Experience selling to electrophysiologists in the EP/ablation market preferred
- Experience with billing, tendering, and physician relationships in a hospital environment preferred
- Comfortable with travel to clinics, hospitals, and off‑site meetings; required to drive and occasionally lift up to 15 pounds
- Master’s degree
- 10 years of medical industry sales experience (selling physician preference products)
- 8+ years medical sales within the field of Cardiology in a hospital environment
- High level of sales performance
Job Requirements
- Frequent travel to customer clinics, hospitals and off‑site meetings
- Must be independently mobile and able to stand/sit/walk for 8 hours a day
- Must be able to produce or obtain auto insurance policy
- Driving record will be reviewed and considered as part of the application process
Job Requirements
Travel to customer clinics, hospitals, and off‑site meetings is required. The employee is regularly required to be independently mobile, interact with a computer, and communicate with peers and co‑workers. The employee may be required to lift and/or move up to 15 pounds and must be able to stand/sit/walk for up to 8 hours a day. ≥75% travel required. Cath lab/OR procedural observations as needed.
Benefits& Compensation
Salary range: USD $68,000.00 – $70,000.00 (U.S. excluding Puerto Rico). Eligible for a Sales Incentive Plan (SIP). Benefits include:
