Job Summary
Our Medline Acute Care sales team serves as the main interface for various segments in the hospital such as OR, Cath Lab, ICU, Labor and Delivery, Emergency Department, Materials Management and C-suite. Our engagement with clinical and industry leaders allows us to deliver a robust product portfolio and patient‑care solutions. Responsibilities- Call on hospitals within assigned territory to sell products.
- Sell exam gloves, durable medical equipment, incontinence products, OR kits, plastics, skin care products, textiles, bathing systems, gauze, packs and gowns, protective apparel, surgical trays, advanced wound care, surgeons’ gloves and other hospital‑used items.
- Make sales presentations to multiple decision‑makers leading to product and program sales.
- Establish and nurture client relationships by developing strong relationships with key decision makers.
- Present and sell new products while maintaining existing business.
- Build teamwork among peers to ensure collaboration across the continuum of care.
- Demonstrate leadership skills and the ability to close the deal.
- Prepare bids and price quotes.
- Occasionally engage in cold calling to develop new markets.
- Bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of quota‑based sales experience demonstrating cold calling, commission, and full‑cycle sales experience;
- or at least 5 years of quota‑based sales experience with the same background.
- Track record of demonstrable sales growth and quota attainment.
- Ability to present multiple product lines.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Computer proficiency, especially in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Ability to drive a car, travel by car 90% of each day, and interact with healthcare providers on site.
Anticipated compensation includes a minimum of $125,000 in guaranteed earnings for the first year, with commission ranging between 0–4% of net sales paid. This role is bonus eligible. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.

When employees work 30 or more hours per week on average, benefits are fully applicable.
