Position: Outside Sales Account Manager (Hospitality) South Nashville, TN

Outside Sales Account Manager – Hospitality Accounts

Drive profitable sales growth by prospecting new accounts, retaining existing accounts, and expanding opportunities with current customers in core and emerging industries and markets to meet yearly sales goals.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong sales relationships with key decision makers and influencers at all levels of an organization, ensuring long-term sustainability.
  • Manage sales volume with existing customers while actively prospecting and acquiring new customers.
  • Develop and implement plans to expand business presence in the assigned area.
  • Share market insights and competitor information with relevant channels throughout the organization, fostering strong relationships and collaborative partnerships.
  • Collaborate with leadership to analyze market trends and customer needs, providing valuable input for the development of effective sales strategies and initiatives.
  • Attend monthly business meetings for company-sponsored associations, engage in local trade shows, and represent the organization in regional or national activities as necessary.
  • Proactively develop call plans and new business opportunities through consultative selling.
Qualifications
  • 3 or more years of B2B sales experience.
  • Direct sales experience to hospitality customers.
  • Passion for customer service and strong organizational skills.
  • Tech‑savvy with CRM experience (Salesforce or equivalent).
  • Knowledge of facilities products such as hardware, electrical, lighting, plumbing, janitorial, and HVAC product lines.
  • Experience with consultative selling/solution selling.
  • Ability to develop call plans and proactively develop new business.
  • Open to learning new techniques and new ideas.
Requirements
  • Must reside within or near the territory of coverage (South Nashville, TN).
  • Requires operation of a personal vehicle; consistent use constitutes more than 20% of the average work week.
  • Must pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) report.
  • Preferred:
    Bilingual.
Education and Experience
  • BS/BA in a related discipline with 2–5 years of experience in a related field, OR MS/MA with 2–4 years of experience.
  • Certification required in some areas (not specified).
