Service Technician

The Service Technician is responsible for working in the field or in the service center as required, diagnosing and repairing a full array of consumer appliances and electronics along with periodic issues with furniture if required.

• Outstanding diagnostic/problem solving skills along with exceptional communication and customer service skills for the proper repair of the company's 82 store chain along with all other related business/customers.
• Prescreen, identify, analyze and repair product ensuring customer satisfaction
• The tech must demonstrate the ability to troubleshoot as repair challenges occur.
• The tech must repair LCD, LED, DLP, and Plasma TV's as well as stereos and general audio equipment.
• The tech must work with the Shop Manager to ensure that all warranty claims are submitted.
• The tech must have the ability to effectively utilize on-line resources
• The tech must maintain the company's tools and equipment.
• The tech must maintain the electronic records regarding service provided and discuss all areas of concern with the Shop Manager.
• The tech must manage parts inventory and working collaboratively with management to ensure that inventory is available for repairs.
• The tech must be able to repair HE Washers and Dryers, refrigerators and gas/electric stoves.

Minimum of 2 years of repair experience, possess all required certifications for warranty work, basic knowledge of MS Office and Smartphone.

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Saturday 8:00 a.m. to 6 p.m. and will require additional hours as needed.
