perform mechanical maintenance functions related to plant facilities and/or equipment.

• install, test, trouble shoot, maintain, repair, overhaul, etc., any type of machine, fabricating machine, processing equipment or facility.
• check equipment and notify supervisor of situations requiring corrective action.
• use specified safety equipment and practices.
• assist less qualified maintenance personnel with maintenance procedures.
• complete and return check sheets to supervisor as required.
• keep equipment and working areas clean and in good order.
• keep accurate and legible records.

• read and interpret blueprints.
• must possess knowledge of industrial mechanics by completion of an associates degree in mechanics from a recognized trade school/university or college, or by passing an associates degree – mechanical equivalency examination.
• lift, move and position materials, use tools, equipment, etc. Quickly and effectively.
• have sound knowledge of mechanical applications, hydraulics, welding techniques, etc.
• must have five (5) years documented industrial experience as a maintenance mechanic.
• training required: blueprint, lift truck operator license, crane operator, ace overview
