We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join the Tennalum team in Jackson Tennessee at our aluminum extrusion plant!

Starting pay is dependent on experience and evaluation. The pay range for the job is $29.48 - $41.79 per hour. Pay increases are earned through a Pay-For-Skill Point System. In addition, we offer a monthly bonus based on plant performance metrics and attendance.

Maintenance Techs perform the following tasks, as well as others deemed necessary to support the mission of the plant:

• Monitors all equipment to ensure reliability.
• Troubleshoots hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Reads ladder logic and function block logic to troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Participates in the preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance, 5S, and Equipment Improvement Teams.
• Completes work orders in a safe and appropriate manner.
• Identifies and reports opportunities for improvement of PM's and Parts Inventory Control.
• Applies Lean Manufacturing tools & principles in daily maintenance activities.
• Documents spare parts usage.

Minimum of two (2) years of Industrial Maintenance experience. Ability to troubleshoot industrial electrical circuits and machinery. Working knowledge of electricity, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems is preferred. Ability to read mechanical/electrical drawings and process and instrumentation diagrams. Must possess a good compliment of maintenance hand tools. Must have good attendance record and stable work history. Needs to have a positive attitude with solid verbal and written communication skills.

Must be flexible to work different hours/shifts as required (could be working 12 hour rotating shifts).
