Fleet Mechanic
Responsibilities- Repair and maintain gasoline and diesel engines used to power equipment such as portable saws, lawnmowers, weed eaters, blowers, and trimmers.
- Adjust points, valves, carburetors, distributors, and spark plug gaps, using feeler gauges.
- Reassemble engines after repair or maintenance work is complete.
- Record repairs made, time spent, and parts used.
- Perform routine maintenance such as cleaning and greasing parts, and tuning ignition systems.
- Must be able to work externally in a variety of different conditions
- Answer service calls promptly

Physical DemandsThe employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, sit, crouch, bend, and lift.
