Role Description This full-time, on-site Journeyman Electrician role is based in Jackson, TN and supports electrical systems in industrial and plant settings. Day-to-day responsibilities include installing, running conduit, maintaining, and repairing electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in accordance with applicable codes and company standards. The role involves reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams, as well as performing troubleshooting on electrical issues to identify root causes and implement safe, effective solutions.

The Journeyman Electrician will inspect systems and components to ensure proper operation, perform preventive maintenance, and collaborate with other trades and supervisors to plan and execute work efficiently. The position also requires adherence to strict safety practices, documentation of work performed, and participation in ongoing training to stay current with industry standards.

Qualifications

• Strong foundational knowledge of electricity and electrical principles, including safe work practices and code compliance.
• Hands‑on experience in electrical work, such as wiring, conduit installation, panel work, and equipment connections.
• Skills in maintenance & repair of industrial electrical systems, with the ability to perform scheduled and corrective maintenance.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical issues, diagnosing faults, and implementing timely, effective solutions.
• Exposure to or understanding of electrical engineering concepts relevant to industrial environments.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
• Commitment to safety, including use of PPE and adherence to OSHA and company safety policies.
• Physical ability to work in industrial settings, including standing, climbing, and lifting as needed.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with other trades and site leadership.
• Reliable transportation to the Jackson, TN worksite and willingness to work occasional overtime or shifts as project needs require.
