Mountain Youth Academy is centrally located near Johnson City, TN, Boone, NC, and Abingdon, VA. We are a 120-bed residential treatment facility and assist in the evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of behavioral health issues for young adolescent patients.
The Clinical Case Manager serves as an integral member of the clinical team, providing direct services and supportive functions to the patients at Mountain Youth Academy. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, facilitating groups, representing MYA at team meetings and court hearings, reviewing documentation for accuracy and timeliness, and discharge planning.
Must be familiar with and understand all payor source regulations as they relate to Psychiatric Residential Services; regulation promulgated by CMS as they relate to patient care, treatment and services. Performs weekly audits for charts concurrently to ensure that the medical records documentation meet the requirements of the regulatory bodies.

Additional Responsibilities- Exhibits ethical and professional behavior in all actions on behalf of Mountain Youth Academy.

- Other duties as assigned.
Must have a bachelor’s degree (in humanities, social work, or related field preferred). Previous experience in medical records is ideal. Must be a self-starter with the ability to communicate effectively with other health care professionals, both verbally and in writing. Exceptional attention to detail needed.
