Warehouse Forklift Operator 1st Shift

Position Description

Ryder is hiring a Storeroom Attendant / Forklift Operator in Eads, TN. The role offers weekly pay and benefits.

• Hourly Pay $16.50 per hour.
• Additional Pay: rate increases to $17.39 per hour after 90 days.
• Schedule:
  
  Monday–Friday 7:00 am–3:30 pm.

• Inbound products such as bolts, cables, reels, wires, anchors.
• Stand‑up and sit‑down forklifts and pallet jacks.

• Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Ensure accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products, and loading/unloading of trucks.
• Maintain day‑to‑day paperwork such as picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.
• Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during core shift hours.
• Perform duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Clean driving record and personal vehicle; travel within the area approximately 25–50 % of the day.
• Technical aptitude including use of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, scanners, and entry of orders into a WMS system.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted.
• Ability to work outdoors and indoors.
• Valid Forklift Operator's License.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to work within a diverse work environment.
• Highly thorough and dependable.
• Must be punctual and maintain a good attendance record.
• Ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to work using health and safety methods.
• Must be available for a flexible schedule on various shifts.
• Detail oriented with excellent follow‑up practices.
