Position Purpose

As a CDL A Delivery Driver, you’re the face of Team Modern on the road – responsible for delivering product safely, accurately, and with a customer-first mindset. Schedule

4:00 AM CST start time. 4-Day Workweek with 5th day on call

Essential Functions
  • Safely and efficiently deliver products to customers, following designated routes and schedules.
  • Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, ensuring all orders are delivered in their entirety.
  • Adhere to all state and local traffic laws as well as Team Modern's safety guidelines.
  • Complete check-in procedures accurately to ensure proper handling of customer products.
  • Document and submit all paperwork and payments on a daily basis.
  • Utilize a tractor trailer and/or tractor and pup trailer, two-wheel dolly, and/or manual pallet jack for product transportation.
  • Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of the truck, documenting any issues electronically.
  • Utilize technology such as ELD (Electronic Logging Device) and dash cameras to comply with DOT regulations and monitor driving behavior.
  • Work in varying traffic and weather conditions, ensuring safe and timely deliveries.
  • Wear designated uniforms every working day, which consist of company-provided polos and black pants or shorts.
  • Any additional task assigned by manager; duties, responsibilities, and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice.
  • Adhere to all company safety policies and guidelines.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Qualifications
  • Must be at least 21 years old (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). have a valid Commercial Driver's License Class

  • Proven work history with CDL A driving and delivery experience.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accurate product unloading and check-in procedures.
  • Familiarity with using navigation systems/app.
  • Strong adherence to safety guidelines, including the prohibition of handheld devices while operating a company vehicle.
  • Ability to work long hours with the potential for longer days initially while getting accustomed to route.
  • Comfortable working in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Dependable and punctual, arriving on time for work and ready to depart for assigned routes.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with customers and coworkers.
