Position: Warehouse Associate 3 – 2nd Shift
Location: Central Distribution Center – Houston, TX 77038
Type: Full Time
Pay Range: $17.00 – $25.00 hourly

• Picks all line orders and stages them for shipping.
• Buils a pallet to standard specifications.
• Stages product on the shipping dock according to the shipping schedule.
• Utilizes an RF scanner to ensure product accuracy.
• Matches shade numbers through label verification.
• Creates new license plates and places them correctly on pallets.
• Turns in a breakage sheet daily.
• Reads item labels and identifies product types.
• Navigates the warehouse effectively.
• Promotes Emser Tile culture and values.
• Thrives in a busy, highly organized, goal‑oriented environment.
• Demonstrates results‑driven, customer‑focused behavior.

• 1–3 years of experience in a picking position.
• Knowledge of database and query functions.
• Ability to accurately read and respond to non‑verbal communication.
• Strong leadership skills: critical thinking, decision‑making, listening.
• Influence, relationship building, composure, and open communication tactics to build trust.
• Basic math skills (piece‑to‑square‑foot calculations).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills at all organizational levels.
• Bi‑lingual in Spanish is a plus.

• Work in a distribution center environment (cold winter, hot summer, loud conditions).
• Lift up to 100+ pounds.
• See, hear, and use hands and arms effectively.
• Work on a computer for long periods of time.
• Bend and kneel as required.
• Forklift certification is required.

• Regular, predictable attendance is essential.
• Hourly position with a predetermined workday; may need to work more hours based on business needs.
• Other tasks may be required or assigned as necessary.
• Willingness to work 2nd‑shift hours (4pm – 1am).

Hourly $17.00 – $25.00
