Simon & Schuster, a global leader in book publishing, has immediate openings in its Jackson, TN distribution facility.
Full-Time and Part-Time opportunities are available for Material Handlers to join our Distribution Center in Jackson, TN. These positions will maintain thorough workflows in various departments.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma
- Ability to meet workplace demands
- Ability to communicate effectively to all levels of employees
- Ability to work alongside employees and accomplish daily goals
- Ability to safely lift and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs. throughout the shift
- Ability to remain standing and active for the duration of scheduled shifts
- Comfortable performing a full range of physical movements, including bending, twisting, reaching, kneeling, and climbing
- Capable of working in a fast-paced warehouse environment while maintaining safety and productivity standards
- Order Selector/Forklift experience a plus
Hours:
Full-time, Monday-Friday, 7:30am – 4:00pm
Part-time: 1st
Shift: Monday
- Wednesday
- Flexible between 7:30AM - 4:00PM
2nd
Shift: Monday
- Wednesday
- Flexible between 3:00PM - 11:30PM
Hourly rate ranges: $16-20/hr depending on experience
